I call Arches papiers "The Ferrari of Papiers"... fact... their "block sets" that you have to separate each piece with a palate knife are just exquisite and my favorite mediums to paint, sketch, and illustrate on.
and don't get me STARTED on my LOVE... my LOOOVE of Caran D'Ache pencils!!! THEY ARE THE PHANTOM ROLLS ROYCE OF PENCILS, PERIOD END OF STORY THE BEST BEST BEST. Their Aquarielle Pencils? (water color pencils) are what converted me from my blase and generic marker method ways! Blick art supply for artists is the equivalent of a fat kid stepping into candy land... we just run wild!
